I’ve wasted countless dollars in high-end department stores trying to find the best foundation makeup. When I ran out of my usual foundation last month, I decided to search for a more inexpensive one and came across Maybelline’s Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation. I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be one of the best foundation makeups I’ve ever used!

Packaging

The product comes in a neat little glass bottle containing 1 fluid ounce of foundation. It is equipped with a pump dispenser that locks to prevent leakage. The bottle is light and portable, and it can easily fit in a purse or makeup bag.

Texture

The texture of this foundation is unlike any other. Its amazingly light formula is easy to apply with a foundation brush or sponge applicator. In addition, it blends evenly over blotchy areas and does not emphasize any fine lines or wrinkles.

Color

Since I have fair skin, I purchased Classic Ivory Light 2. This color matches my complexion far better than any high-end department store foundations. It also gives the skin a natural finish and glow without looking overly done or cakey.

Coverage

When looking for the best foundation makeup, coverage is key. This product claims to give an “airbrush” finish and it delivers. Although the coverage is relatively light, it easily camouflages small imperfections and discoloration. A light dusting of Maybelline’s Dream Matte Powder helps maintain the “airbrush” finish. Skin looks and feels flawless and natural.

Application

One application lasts about five hours for me, but I have combination skin that tends to get a bit oily in some areas. A quick blot with a facial tissue and some pressed powder easily takes care of any shine. Overall, I am highly pleased with this product and will buy it again. Maybelline’s Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation is not only the best foundation makeup I have ever used, it is truly a dream come true! On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 9.9.

There are a tremendous number of brand names in the makeup world which can lead to a very difficult and confusing shopping experience. How are we, as women, supposed to know which kind of makeup to buy, which kind will look best on our face, or which kind will be the healthiest for our skin? We see so many commercials and advertisements, it often seems impossible to choose the makeup that will be right for us. Foundation especially can seem overwhelming at first. We might think, “Everything looks the same! There’s no difference, right?” However, through trial and error, women discover that there really is a difference between the myriad of foundation choices and some are just better than others. As an overall rule, before mentioning any specific product names, if the makeup is amazingly inexpensive, it’s probably not going to be any good. The cheap, unheard-of makeup brands, especially in the foundation department, tend to give a less-than-excellent look. The foundation hardly offers coverage, gives a tinty, blotchy look to the skin, and usually clogs pores. However, that is not to say that women must spend a fortune on their foundation. CoverGirl products are the most reasonably price, excellent makeup products on the market, as far as I am concerned. Their foundation products, whether liquid or powder, work well and are used by the majority of average women. For people who struggle with acne or other skin disorders, Neutrogena is #1 Dermatologist recommended and has a wonderful line of makeup made just for problem skin. Their SkinClearing foundation gives excellent coverage and helps prevent clogged pores and acne. Mineral makeup is a healthy option for beautiful skin. There are dozens of brands which sell mineral makeup products, but I’ve grown to prefer the mineral foundation products sold by L ‘Oreal and Neutrogena. Mineral makeup, though, is becoming increasingly popular and is often a matter of preference and price. Finally, MaryKay is a popular name in the makeup business. For those who have a higher budget or who don’t want the average, supermarket-sold makeup, MaryKay foundation is an excellent choice. Their products are tested and loved by millions of women, and their many available products ensures that every customer will have the perfect foundation and makeup kit.

Liquid foundation is a common necessity in the world of makeup, as it goes on smooth and creates a creamy complexion. Though it typically is more expensive than the powder forms of foundation, the coverage is well-worth the extra pennies. This type of Foundation Makeup is sometimes difficult to match to a skin tone, but when using this type of makeup, it is essential to have a good match. A mis-matched liquid foundation is much more difficult to conceal or blend than a powder foundation. However, with a good match, liquid foundation can create a beautifully, smooth complexion as a place to start before any other makeup is applied.

This type of foundation makeup comes in several different forms. One of the common and least expensive forms is a bottled liquid. If choosing this type of makeup, it should be noted that cost really does coincide with quality. Cheap bottled liquids tend to be runny, lacking tint, and uneasily blended. They don’t give a good coverage and end up looking tacky and tinty. If you want to use a bottled liquid foundation, it would be good to purchase one of the more expensive brands. When applying this type of foundation, it is essential to find a good skin match as well to blend the makeup well.

The second type of this foundation is a squeeze-style liquid. This makeup is more expensive, maybe only because of the special bottle it comes in. A spray button means you can squeeze out just the right amount of foundation without making a huge mess or causing any spills. This type of liquid is generally a little bit thicker than bottled liquids and often goes on smoother.

Finally, liquid foundation also comes in a cake form. Here, a sponge is used to apply the foundation. This type of makeup needs to be smoothed out on the skin to prevent an uneven look. However, women aiming for a less-oily look, cake foundation makeup can be a good fit. Often, it goes on smooth like a liquid but dries more like a powder.

When using a liquid foundation, regardless of the form it comes in, it is important to use a proper balance. If too little makeup is used, the face can look blotchy and uneven. If too much makeup is used, the skin will look caked on and greasy. For those who plan to use this type of foundation, a little study and practice will lead to perfection.

Many consumers today are becoming more concerned with what is in their makeup. The mineral makeup trend directly addresses this need while providing an alternate and interesting way of applying makeup. The main product in mineral makeup is the foundation, or base. However, many companies produce mineral makeup foundation and it is becoming more and more accessible. Once only found in boutiques or on shopping networks, now mineral makeup is available online and even in drugstores and mass retailers. Before you change your makeup routine, however, here are some points to consider about mineral makeup and its application.

Mineral Foundation Makeup can be divided into two broad categories: those containing bismuth oxychloride and those that do not. Bismuth oxychloride is a substance added to many formula to give the powder a silky texture and to provide that “glow” so typical of mineral makeup. However, in some people, this substance can cause a skin reaction, so some people with very sensitive skin prefer to buy formulations that do not contain this ingredient.

The great thing about this type of Foundation makeup is that not only does it not contain fillers such as mineral oil or talc, which can irritate skin, but it also comes in a wide range of shades, so that women of every skin tone can find a good match. You will find this especially true of the specialized mineral makeup websites. Often, you can purchase either a starter kit or a sampler kit to see how you like the foundation before committing to a full-size product.

Foundation makeup usually comes in loose form. The best way to apply it is with a kabuki brush or a flat-top brush. Dip the brush in the powder, tap off any excess and then gently buff it in circular motions into the skin. Coverage can often be built up as needed. Loose powders can be very messy, and they aren’t portable; however, many companies are offering refillable powder brushes that dispense the powder into the brush, and then you just sweep it on your face for touch-ups. If you are looking for a natural-looking makeup with fewer fillers, you may wish to investigate Mineral Foundation Makeup. Finding the Best Foundation Makeup that suits you may take some time, but once you have found it you are set for life.

Spray foundation makeup has been used for many years on film and movie sets by professional makeup artists to create looks that gives an ultra-natural, smooth and even finish. Today, this type of makeup base is often used by both professionals as well as the average woman. Many different cosmetic companies are developing their own foundation, so spray foundation is sold at various price points.

One most popular types of spray foundation makeup is Classified Cosmetics Era Face Spray On Foundation. Other brands include: Dior DiorSkin AirFlash, MAC Studio Mist, Suzanne Somers, Sally Hansen Fast & Flawless and Lumene. The price of spray foundation can range anywhere from ten to sixty dollars and be purchased as drug stores and online beauty suppliers.

Using a spray foundation makeup has many advantages:

1. Made with a non-smearing formulas that are made sweat or water-resistant.
2. Provides an even and smooth finished look.
3. Conceals age spots, some freckles and blemishes.
4. Can be used as primer, concealer and foundation all in one.
5. Saves alot of time when putting on makeup by eliminating the use of other various products.
6. Provides coverage without any added weight.
7. Works on various areas of the body, including chest, back and legs.
8. Provides results that are similar to that of photo shopping.
9. Can be applied in layers to provide additional coverage with the first layer as a tinted moisturizer and the fifth layer covering a tattoo.

Applying Spray foundation makeup is very simple. You begin by spraying the makeup back and forth in a horizontal motion starting at the forehead and then working your way down. Once this is dry, you can apply any additional makeup right over top. When using the spray, it tends to spray outwards, so it is recommended to where something over your clothes until the makeup has been applied completely. Follow these simple techniques and you should be able to get just the perfect look that you need. This is one of the key advantages of knowing how to properly apply Spray Foundation, it may take some time to get used to using it but once you do it will look fantastic.

Women who are looking for a light makeup coverage are best using a Powder Foundation Makeup. It’s not heavy or thick like the various liquid foundations and therefore, much healthier on the skin and less prone to makeup flaws. However, for those using only a power foundation, the coverage won’t be as thick and smooth. If you are attempting to cover up a lot of skin flaws or unevenness, powder foundation may not do the trick.

Powder foundation Makeup can come in several forms. The first option is loose powder. This foundation usually comes in a small container with a sifter and a puff. It can be applied with the cotton puff or a large powder brush. If you’re purchasing a mineral foundation, it usually comes in this loose power form. While this type of foundation is light and often healthier for the skin, it can be very messy. Because the powder is loose, it tends to dust itself on just about everything from the floor and counter to your once-clean sweater.

Foundation Makeup also comes in a compact form with a cotton puff. These small compact foundations are quite common and one of the cheaper foundation products in the makeup world. These powders go on smooth and give a decent amount of coverage. The only con of compact powders is that, near the end of the compact, the puff can be laden with makeup and the remaining makeup can become pressed together, making application a little more difficult.

Finally, there are some makeups which come in a liquid form but dry to look like a powder. Consumers obviously won’t get the same effect using this type of foundation, but if you need a liquid foundation for skin coverage but want a dry, powdery look at the end, liquid-to-powder foundation could end up being quite useful.

Makeup is an art which has to be tested and played with to find the right products. Each woman is different, both in her skin qualities and makeup preferences. There is no right Powder Foundation Makeup to use. Instead, it is a matter of trial and error until you find something that gives you a clean, smooth glow as a basis for the rest of your makeup adventures.
